Mixed League
Welcome to our mixed league at the Sherwood Golf & Country Club. Our league will start on Thursday May 5th, 2011
Our opening night is Thursday, May 5th and our windup will be Friday, September 16th. Please take note that there are four themed fun event evenings planned throughout the season. These events will be shotgun starts on Friday evenings @ 6pm and will be followed by a buffet dinner. This allows for an evening out without the stress of working the following morning! Extra prizes will be awarded to those of you brave enough to come “dressed” for the particular theme of the evening. You are certainly invited to come out on the Thursday night prior to these fun events but there will not be a structured mixed night on those occasions. All regular Thursdays will be tee time starts running from 4:30–6:30 (excluding the opening night). These nights will include a different format each week with prizing seperate from the usual closest to the pin, long putt, etc. Please be sure to turn in your scorecard at the end of your round. Prize winners from each week will be posted on the Mixed board and can be picked up at the Pro Shop that weekend.

May 5th – Opening 2 Person Scramble. Please register before May 3rd.
May 27th – 4 person Dice Scramble (70’s Theme). Please register before May 25th
June 24th – 3 Club Challenge (Movie Character). Please register before June 22nd
July 22nd – 4 person Rainbow Scramble (Hawaiian). Please register before July 20th
August 19th – Texas Scramble (Western…NO Boots!). Please register before August 17th
September 16th – Scotch 2 Ball This evening is included in your registration!!!
Please be sure to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before your scheduled tee time and shotgun events. This gives you a chance to get the format, participate in the 50–50 draws, playing card raffles and all of the other fun things planned for you. If anyone has any ideas and would like to donate a prize or sponsor a particular evening, please let us know. ALL shotgun events (excluding opening and wind-up) and regular Thursday league nights in August and July, all members are encouraged to bring a couple not yet apart of our league. This will allow us to build the prestige of our league and bring fresh faces to our facility.
